Friday My Town Shoot-Out:My favorite place to....

My favorite place to get my espresso fix:
I'll have a 16 oz Dirty Debbie, please. That is an Americano with steamed half-n-half, raw sugar, and topped with whipped cream.
My favorite place to volunteer:
My favorite place to be on a Friday night in the fall:

I love that I have a bay view while watching a high school football game. GO WILDCATS!

My favorite place to get a book:

My favorite place to eat out:

I only photographed the sign because the restaurant had a fire and is temporarily closed. There is a giant ugly dumpster out front. I can't wait for them to re-open - they are very missed!

My favorite place to get a sandwich, specifically a Sweet Maui Onion Pork Sandwich:
This is The Mermaid Deli, home of the yummiest sandwiches.

My favorite place to run:

I am training for my first 5K and I love to run on this trail. You can't beat the beach view.
Here is my daughter having a peek at me with the bay behind her. This shot reminds me of the viewfinder in Toy Story! **Update - Actually, Kent is right - it looks like Wall-E!

These are the places, outside of home & work, where I spend the most time, though not necessarily in order!! I didn't take a picture of my very favorite place to be because it isn't very pretty, but it would have to be my bathtub with a coffee and a good book!
Thanks for looking!

You know, I could live there, I really could. Well, wait I almost do (Oregon), but just not on the coast. I love the Pacific NW coast! Good luck on your 5K run! I hope the pizza place re-opens soon.

"My favorite place to be on a Friday night in the fall" is the football field (get that soccer goal out of there!). My daughter plays youth soccer and I am starting to enjoy soccer, but our love in my family is football...especially since my hubby is the varsity coach :)

The view-finder makes me think more of Wall-E! I like that you have many favorite places, not just one.

I would love to live on the water, to have it in my view when doing all of my activities, including HS Football game watching. And your coffee order makes my mouth water!

What a nice place to run, just by the beach! I would love to just walk around there.

Your powers of observation astound me: you were RIGHT! I WAS dropped from the list! And I didn't even notice! Jeesh, I didn't think my pictures were that bad!!

Nice job. And knowing what your favorite thing to get at some of those places makes it even more interesting.

My oldest daughter is called deborah. I wonder if she knows about dirty debbie. I will tell her, she lives in Singapore.

You go, girl on your running. Just go slow in the beginning, and slowly increase. Get the whole family to encourage it. When I was training, after each achievement, I come home to tell the family, and email all my relatives.

Run Carrie Run.

You have a great place to run.

I love that space in the last photo. And that walking trail looks so peaceful. Coffee? I can just smell it.

Great photos and complimentary commentary.

Someone actually did the bathtub. That was so cool. I thought about it, too. Next time, we will have to out-think everyone. Heehe.

Have a great Sunday and a super week.

Oooh - your espresso place looks like one of those places that most people who pass it by don't know what they are passing up! I love coffee (I can quit anytime...oh who am I kidding? I'm an addict.) and I would LOVE to try this place out!

I also love your running path - fabulous!
I can run two miles back to back - goos for you doing a 5K - keep it up!

Your town is so pretty! I love the fact that you guys cheer for the Wildcats, too - that's my college alma mater mascot and I'll be cheering for them tomorrow in Kansas City!
