Sherri chose our theme this week: Sunrises and Sunsets. I am excited to see everyone else's pictures...especially of sunrises. The reason that I say that is that I am not a morning cucumber so I rarely see a sunrise :). I had to go through my archives for this one because after the most beautiful September and beginning of October, we have had nothing but rain & clouds all week! I was even going to get my rear out of bed for a sunrise shot because I love FSO so much but alack and alas, I did not have to! The first 3 pictures are local places. The last picture was taken in Mukilteo, WA, on my anniversary trip last May. The

I couldn't get up for the sunrises either (blaah..they were gray anyway I bet). Your sunsets are beautiful; I like that lit up ferry.
Just spectacular photos!!! I had to laugh at the morning cucumber comment! I was lucky enough to have been on that ferry once. You're right, it's beautiful there!
My heart stopped there for a minute. The last photo of the boat sailing out of the photo, lights ablaze and reflected in the dark waters of the bay, is breathtaking.
My kids grew up on Veggie Tales...thus the "morning cucumber" comment. :)

Carrie, these are beautiful. I love the colors in all the photos, each one different. I really like the first one and the third one. I don't know, I like the ship too. Well, just know that these are all very pleasing to my eye. Gorgeous.

I really like the second shot, so soft and gentle. And also the drama of the last one.
My favorite is the last...blue and orange...hubby and my favorite colors...the colors of our anniversary and love!

Carrie you are right. This is a very beautiful place. The soft reflections counterpointing the vivid natural colours adds so much beauty to these photos. the ferry sailing home is like icing on the cake. Awesome post! thank you for sharing.
